Sobia.Bar sits inside a renovated historic coral stone house in Al Balad, marked by the distinctive, intricate wooden latticework of its traditional Roshan windows. This shop serves sobia, a fermented drink made from barley, oats, or bread, which has been a staple in the Hijaz region for generations. Owner Khalid Al-Harbi opened this space to modernize the preparation of the beverage, moving it from sidewalk carts into a preserved home that reflects the ancient architectural spirit of Jeddah.
