Mansaj Studio occupies a restored coral stone house in the heart of the Al Balad district. Its exterior walls feature the traditional wooden latticework windows known as roshan, which were designed to provide shade and privacy while catching sea breezes. Inside, the space serves as a workspace for contemporary artists and textile designers who draw inspiration from local heritage. A group of local creatives transformed this former family residence into a hub for experimentation with ancient weaving techniques and modern patterns.
