This building housed a clandestine women’s group during the nineteen thirties, where they organized social and political activities hidden behind the guise of a traditional society. When authorities raided the property, they found the interior decorated with portraits of female leaders, serving as a rare, permanent space for local women to meet and debate during a restrictive era.
