Unión Artesana

The Unión Artesana displays a massive, darkened wooden door on the street level, often adorned with a coat of arms that hints at the society’s long history. Established in eighteen seventy, this gastronomic society remains one of the oldest in San Sebastián. Members gather here to cook, eat, and socialize in a space that stays private by tradition. The society holds a special role during the Tamborrada festival, as they carry the honor of lowering the flag in the Constitution Square every January twentieth.
