Sagueseko Horma

The Sagueseko Horma is a rough concrete wall that separates the Gros neighborhood from the Zurriola beach. It was built during the nineteen nineties as part of a massive urban project that transformed this stretch of coastline. Before the wall arrived, a heavy sea embankment and abandoned industrial ruins defined the edge of the city. Today, local skaters use the wide, flat surface of the wall as a long, continuous bench for practicing tricks while the surf rolls in behind them.
