Mala Gissona Beer House Gros

food drink

The Mala Gissona Beer House features a wall of glass looking out onto the street, revealing rows of heavy steel fermentation tanks tucked directly behind the wooden bar. It is a working microbrewery placed in the middle of a city neighborhood. The name honors the Basque whalers who traveled to the North Atlantic centuries ago, often finding themselves in dangerous waters. Founders Manu and Arkaitz chose this name to connect their craft to that history of grit and exploration on the open sea.
