For All Liverpool's Liver Birds (Wings) by Paul Curtis

The mural shows two giant, stylized Liver Birds with wings spread wide across the brick wall. Paul Curtis painted these wings in twenty-seventeen after a career change from marine science. He designed the piece so anyone standing in the center appears to have the massive white wings attached to their own shoulders. While the birds traditionally watch over the city from the top of the Royal Liver Building, this version brings them down to the street level for people to step inside.
