The Blue Angel nightclub displays a weathered, unassuming brick facade on Seel Street. Inside, the venue operates under the local nickname The Raz. It opened in nineteen sixty as a jazz club before becoming a hub for the city's emerging beat music scene. Allan Williams, the club's first owner, famously managed the Beatles during their early days. He often drove them to gigs in his own van, including their first trips to play in Hamburg, Germany.
