Lee's Bakery & Kitchen

The storefront of Lee's Bakery and Kitchen wears a bright, faded red sign that distinguishes it from the surrounding office blocks in downtown Honolulu. This space started as a small neighborhood bakery serving workers in the district with traditional baked manapua and pork buns. When the original owners retired, the kitchen transitioned into a local favorite for Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches. The shop keeps its focus on heavy, crusty bread rolls baked in house every single morning before the morning rush.
