This structure served as the headquarters for the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company when it opened in the eighteen nineties. The company built machines that harvested wheat across the American Midwest, and they needed this space to showcase their heavy equipment to potential buyers. Even today, the heavy industrial character remains in the original, cavernous design of the primary showroom floors.
