The Thompson Nashville wears a distinct facade of glass and dark brick, rising above the neighborhood with a serrated, jagged roofline that mimics the industrial geometry of the rail yards that once dominated this district. Before this building opened in twenty sixteen, the site held a low-slung wholesale warehouse. Developers chose to replace that structure with this eleven-story tower to house upscale hotel rooms and a rooftop bar, changing the scale of the street from functional industry to modern leisure.
