Rosita's Bridge

The concrete surface of Rosita's Bridge spans the San Antonio River, marked by a name plaque honoring Rosita Fernandez. Known as the First Lady of San Antonio television, she spent decades performing at the Arneson River Theatre nearby. In nineteen eighty-two, the city dedicated this bridge to her to recognize her contribution to the local culture. Musicians still gather on this stretch of the river walk to play, occasionally performing the traditional songs that defined her career.
