Phoenix Central Park

cultural

Phoenix Central Park in Chippendale stands out for the vertical forest clinging to its side. A dense screen of lush, green vegetation climbs the exterior of the high-rise tower, designed by botanist Patrick Blanc. Before this building arrived in twenty fourteen, the site belonged to the Carlton and United Breweries, which powered the local economy for over a century. The brewery shut its doors in two thousand four, leaving behind a massive industrial footprint that developers transformed into this blend of residential space.
