Spice Alley

Spice Alley is a narrow lane tucked between Kensington Street and O'Connor Street, covered by a collection of red, translucent lanterns that glow once the sun sets. Before this became a dining destination, the site belonged to the Carlton and United Breweries. The concrete buildings lining the alley once housed industrial workshops for the brewery. In twenty sixteen, the developers turned these vacant spaces into a collection of open-air kitchens serving hawker-style street food from across Southeast Asia.
