The Fish sculpture on the Cairns Esplanade features a massive, stainless steel barramundi suspended in mid-air. It honors the region's connection to the sea and the local fishing industry. Artist Brian Robinson created the piece to represent the importance of the barramundi in both Indigenous culture and the recreational fishing community.
