The storefront of Rogers' Chocolates features tall, arched windows framed by dark, ornate woodwork and hand-painted gold lettering. Charles Rogers opened this confectionery in eighteen eighty-five, selling his hand-made treats to locals and sailors arriving at the harbor. He used the back of the shop to refine recipes for his signature Victoria Creams. While the business expanded across the region, this shop remains the original location where the first batches of chocolate were stirred in copper kettles.
