Patton House

The Patton House features a steeply pitched gable roof and distinctive decorative wood shingles that set it apart from its neighbors. Built in nineteen oh nine by the architect Thomas Hooper, this residence served as a private home for a succession of local families. During the nineteen thirties, the basement level housed a small commercial bakery. The aroma of fresh bread once drifted from the vents into the street, contrasting with the quiet residential character of the building today.
