Laurel Point Path

Laurel Point Path sits where the rugged rocky coastline meets the manicured edge of the city. Before the path existed, this point served as a Chinese cemetery from eighteen sixty-three until nineteen oh eight. Families eventually relocated the remains to their ancestral homes, but artifacts still turn up in the soil today. The current walkway follows the winding shoreline, connecting the harbor to the quiet residential pockets of James Bay while preserving the long, silent history of the ground beneath the pavement.
