Wing Noodles occupies a brick building on de la Gauchetiere Street with a plain, utilitarian exterior that hides a hundred years of local history. It began in nineteen thirteen when Feng Lee opened a small shop to serve Montreal’s growing Chinese community. While many businesses in the area eventually moved or closed, this factory kept operating in the same spot. Even today, the distinct smell of fresh, steaming dough often drifts onto the sidewalk, betraying the industrial scale of the kitchen inside.
