Café Cherrier

Café Cherrier occupies a corner building marked by its distinctive green window frames and a sprawling, heated terrace that stays active through the Montreal winter. Originally a pharmacy in the nineteen twenties, the space retained the original floor tiles and cabinets when it transitioned into a restaurant in nineteen eighty-three. It became a neighborhood hub for writers and actors who lived nearby. Even after ownership changed hands in recent years, the place kept the same menu, including their signature onion soup.
