Bistro à Jojo

Bistro a Jojo features a bright red facade with tall, weathered windows that face the street. It occupies a space that began as a storefront in the nineteenth century, back when this part of Montreal served as a dense residential hub. For decades, the building housed various local businesses until it became a dedicated blues club in nineteen eighty-four. Musicians squeeze onto a tiny corner stage every night, playing sets that bleed out onto the sidewalk when the doors swing open.
