La Presentación Casa Museo

The white facade of La Presentación Casa Museo faces the street with a high, arched wooden door that conceals an expansive courtyard inside. Built during the eighteenth century, the house served as a convent school for young girls run by the French order of the Sisters of Charity. A century ago, the nuns moved their classes to a larger facility, leaving these vaulted galleries to house a contemporary art gallery and cultural center where the original colonial architecture holds rotating exhibits.
