Palača Milesi

historic

The Baroque facade of the Milesi Palace features a wide, decorative stone staircase and a balcony that juts out over the pavement. Built in the seventeenth century, this structure served as the grand family home for the noble Milesi family, who commissioned the transformation of older medieval dwellings into this unified residence. The family coat of arms remains carved into the stone above the main entrance. Inside, the palace houses the Croatian Maritime Museum, documenting the region's long history of trade and conflict.
