Carpe Diem stands out in the La Defense business district with its jagged, crystalline facade that shifts in appearance depending on the angle of the sun. Designed by architect Robert Stern, the tower holds a series of tiered terraces and a distinct rooftop glass canopy. It functions as a corporate office building, built to replace an older structure on the same footprint. Its primary tenant is the accounting firm Mazars, which chose the space for its energy efficiency and open, light-filled floor plates.
