Square Léon Jamin

Square Léon Jamin honors the municipal architect who designed the Levallois-Perret City Hall. In eighteen ninety-two, at only twenty-five years old, Jamin was entrusted with the ambitious project of creating a grand town hall for the newly established commune. The resulting structure was so lavish that its cost sparked a political scandal, eventually forcing the mayor who commissioned it to resign from office.
