The Square des Justes in Levallois-Perret serves as a local site of remembrance, inaugurated in November 2013 to honor residents who risked their lives to save Jewish people during the Second World War. The space specifically pays tribute to Fernand and Marie Bibal, as well as Andrée Nicol, individuals recognized by Yad Vashem as Righteous Among the Nations for their acts of courage during the occupation. The square intentionally includes a playground for children, a design choice meant to symbolize the triumph of life and future generations over the barbarism of the past.
