Square Mathilde Girault

The Square Mathilde Girault features a bronze bust of a woman set against a quiet backdrop of manicured trees and low hedges. Mathilde Girault was the wife of the town's former mayor, Nicolas Pleigneur. In the late nineteenth century, she became known locally for her devotion to the residents of Levallois-Perret, specifically through her work with the poor and the town's elderly. The town honored her memory by dedicating this green space, which remains a small, shaded pocket within the dense urban grid.
