The Théâtre soixante-et-onze in Malakoff sits behind a distinct, stark white concrete facade marked by tall, clean geometric lines that cut sharply against the streetscape. Before it became a theater in nineteen seventy-one, this building served as a printing plant for the French Communist Party. Workers once spent their days here printing newspapers and political literature on heavy industrial presses. Now, the stage occupies the former production floor where those machines stood, hosting contemporary performances that draw audiences from across the region.
