Musée Adzak

The Musée Adzak occupies a narrow, four-story building on the Rue Jonquoy with a facade that fades into the residential street. Sculptor Roelof Louw and his partner Adrienne Adzak created this space in the nineteen eighties to serve as a hub for international artists. Adzak worked in clay and bronze, often focusing on themes of human form and isolation. Following her death in nineteen ninety, the space became an experimental residency where artists lived and displayed their work within the existing studio walls.
