Square Alfred de Musset

Square Alfred de Musset is named in honor of the nineteenth-century poet and playwright Alfred de Musset. Musset was a central figure of the French Romantic movement and famously navigated a volatile, years-long romantic affair with the novelist George Sand. His literary legacy remains deeply tied to the intense emotional landscapes of his poetry and his autobiographical novel, The Confession of a Child of the Century.
