Square de Vogüe

The Square de Vogüe sits behind a heavy iron gate, marked by a low stone wall and a dense cluster of trees that separate it from the nearby streets. It takes its name from the Marquis de Vogüe, a diplomat who lived in the mansion formerly on this plot. After the house was demolished in the early twentieth century, the town turned the remaining garden into a public park. It remains one of the quietest corners in the neighborhood.
