Saadat House

The Saadat House stands out for the intricate, multicolored brickwork that covers its main facade. This nineteenth century residence captures the architectural style of the Qajar era in Shiraz. While many homes of this period feature inner courtyards designed for privacy, this house displays a high level of craftsmanship in its ornamental tile panels and plaster carvings. It survived decades of neglect and changing ownership until restoration efforts stabilized its structure, preserving the delicate patterns once hidden beneath layers of dust and time.
