The Seyed Mohammad ebn Musa shrine wears a brilliant coat of mirrors, broken into thousands of tiny, glittering shards that catch the desert sun. Inside, these geometric mosaics climb every wall and curve over the ceiling, turning the tomb of the brother of the famous Saint Ahmad ebn Musa into a cavern of refracted light. Local lore insists that Seyed Mohammad fled here to escape persecution, eventually passing away in secret before his identity and burial site were revealed to the faithful.
