The founder, an immigrant from the Soviet Union named Misha, started by selling his handmade confections from a small cart. He eventually moved into this storefront, where he introduced dozens of flavors like Belgian chocolate, pistachio, and coffee, shifting the neighborhood’s perception of a traditional dessert into a experimental culinary craft.
