The Book Lounge

other

The Book Lounge features a bright red door tucked away on a corner in the city center. Mervyn Sloman opened these doors in two thousand seven after working in the book trade for years. He wanted a space where authors and readers could gather, filling the shelves with titles that mattered to him rather than just bestsellers. When the shop opened, the local literary scene lacked a dedicated hub, and the shop filled that void by hosting events almost every single evening.
