ARTS at King Street Station

The clock tower rising above King Street Station features four seven-foot-wide clock faces, one on each side, modeled after the clock in London’s Saint Mark’s Campanile. Inside, the station serves as a hub for regional trains. In the early nineteen hundreds, thousands of people stepped off trains here and walked straight into the heart of the city. Later, the station fell into neglect until a recent renovation stripped away decades of drop ceilings and wall partitions to reveal the original marble floors.
