A bright red door marks the entrance to the Greg Kucera Gallery, set into a brick building that dates back to the early twentieth century. Greg Kucera opened this space in nineteen eighty-three, moving from a smaller location to help anchor the Pioneer Square art scene. He built his reputation by showing local Pacific Northwest artists alongside major international names, often creating prints that made fine art accessible to a wider audience. The gallery walls still hold those original, distinctively bold contemporary prints.
