Hôtel Palais de la Méditerranée - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

other

The Palais de la Méditerranée stands out with its long, white Art Deco facade featuring geometric carvings and a distinct lack of heavy ornament. Built in nineteen twenty-nine, the hotel began as a lavish casino and theater designed to attract wealthy visitors to the Promenade des Anglais. In the nineteen seventies, the building was demolished, leaving only that iconic exterior wall standing like a lonely stage set for decades. It remained a hollow shell until it was rebuilt into a hotel in two thousand four.
