Lou Pilha Leva stands out for its yellow facade and the line of people often spilling onto the narrow cobblestones of the Rue du Collet. It operates as a bustling canteen dedicated to Nissart street food, serving socca straight from copper pans heated by wood fires. Decades ago, this corner was a simple local eatery where laborers stopped for a quick chickpea pancake. Today, it remains one of the few spots where the traditional recipes of Nice are prepared on-site, in plain view.
