The Village Notre-Dame is an enclosed courtyard of antique shops shielded from the street by a limestone archway. Built in the late nineteenth century as a complex for wine merchants, the site once housed barrels, bottles, and packing crates for export. In the nineteen eighties, antique dealers claimed the space, transforming the former storage rooms into galleries. A single cobblestone path runs between the glass storefronts where merchants still display mirrors, furniture, and jewelry behind the original wooden shutters.
