The Centre culturel Joffre sits behind a jagged, modernist concrete facade of interlocking geometric shapes that cut sharply against the neighboring residential street. It functions as the primary community hub for the Fallet neighborhood, housing local associations, classrooms, and event spaces. Before the center was built in the nineteen seventies, the lot held a modest collection of wartime housing. The current structure replaced that wreckage to anchor the neighborhood around a singular, public space for residents to meet and organize events.
