Sentier du Tir

The Sentier du Tir earns its name from the military history of the surrounding area. In the nineteenth century, this narrow pathway served as a training ground for soldiers stationed at the nearby Fort de Vanves. The site provided a dedicated space for troops to practice their marksmanship, a necessity for the military defenses of Paris at the time.
