Gare de Bercy ceinture

landmark

The Gare de Bercy Ceinture consists of a solitary, weathered stone platform edge stretching parallel to the active tracks. It remains as a ghostly remnant of the Petite Ceinture, the circular railway that once looped around all of Paris. While the rest of the city modernized, this stretch fell silent when passenger service ended in nineteen thirty-four. Today, weeds push through the ballast stones, and the platform sits abandoned, serving as a quiet gap between the bustling industrial depots nearby.
