When this building went up in eighteen ninety-four, it served as a high-end residential block for the wealthy merchants who flocked to the new station district. A tailor named Jacob Schick operated his workshop on the ground floor for years, stitching suits for the city elite. Today, the street-level windows display modern retail signs, but the ornate stone cherubs remain fixed above the entrance.
