The Nahualli House of the Artists displays a massive, bright orange exterior wall that stretches along the street, punctuated by a heavy wooden door. This building functions as a collective workshop and gallery for local painters and sculptors. Years ago, the property sat in a state of deep decay. Artist Oscar Ortiz discovered the site and spent months clearing out thick vegetation and debris, revealing the original stone masonry that now anchors the exhibition spaces where painters display their work today.
