The Vernaculo Studio sits behind a high, pastel-colored facade typical of the neighborhood, identified by a simple, elegant sign near the entrance. Inside, the space functions as a dedicated workspace and retail shop for locally produced artisanal goods. The founder, an industrial designer, converted this former family home into a studio where traditional Yucatecan crafts meet modern aesthetics. He began by sourcing embroidery from local Mayan women, bringing their work directly into a contemporary retail setting that values original design over mass production.
