Wisława Szymborska Park

Wisława Szymborska Park features a series of tall, iron trellises draped in climbing hydrangeas and star jasmine that bloom in shades of white and cream. Before the city transformed this empty lot into a public garden in twenty twenty-three, it sat as a neglected urban gap for years. The space honors the Nobel Prize winning poet Wisława Szymborska, who lived just a short walk away. One summer, workers unearthed a buried time capsule here, containing coins and newspapers from the early twentieth century.
