The Le Grand Domaine Enoteca features a tall, arched entrance topped by an intricate wrought-iron balcony that faces directly onto Church Street. This tasting room functions as the urban embassy for the Miravel and Le Grand Domaine wine estates. It exists to bring rural vintages into the heart of Stellenbosch, allowing travelers to taste products from the Polkadraai Hills without leaving the town center. The building itself dates back to the early eighteenth century, though it underwent extensive modern restoration in recent years.
