Stellenbosch University Museum

The Stellenbosch University Museum occupies a striking building with a distinct white gabled facade that stands apart from its modern neighbors. Originally built as the Rhenish Girls High School in nineteen oh seven, the structure was later repurposed to house the university's collections. In the early nineties, curators discovered a series of wall paintings hidden beneath layers of old plaster during a renovation project. These murals, painted by early pupils, remain visible today as a testament to the school's creative past.
