Sixty 2 Sixty Art Gallery

The Sixty 2 Sixty Art Gallery occupies a bright, teal-colored building tucked away on Mackey Street. Inside, the walls display works by Bahamian artists, ranging from traditional landscapes to abstract contemporary pieces. It began as a vision of the artist Margot Bethel, who wanted a dedicated, intimate space for local creators to bypass larger, more commercial exhibition houses. She keeps the rotation of paintings and sculptures moving quickly, ensuring that the work on display rarely stays the same for more than a few weeks.
